Lee Wolverson fundraising for AsIAm
Many of you may not know that our daughter was diagnosed with autism this past September. It’s been an emotional journey for our family — full of questions, learning, and moments that have completely changed how we see the world. Like any parent, you just want to make sure your child is understood, supported, and given every opportunity to thrive. That’s why this marathon means more than just 42.2km to me. I’m running to support AsIAm, a charity that works every day to create a more accepting and inclusive Ireland for autistic people and their families. Their work gives families like ours a voice, guidance, and hope at a time when it’s needed most. Training has been and will be tough, but it’s nothing compared to the challenges many autistic people and their families face every single day. If you can, please consider donating — no amount is too small, and every contribution helps make a real difference. This run is for our daughter, and for every family walking a similar path. Thank you so much for your support — it truly means more than I can put into words 🧩
