This October, I’ll be running the Irish Life Dublin Marathon for LauraLynn Children’s Hospice — a charity that holds a very special place in my heart. My twin brother, Evan, attended LauraLynn for a number of years, and through that time, LauraLynn became a huge part of our lives as a family. They were there for Evan, but they were also there for all of us — providing care, support, kindness and moments of comfort during some incredibly difficult times. Having experienced first-hand what LauraLynn means to children and their families, I wanted to take on this marathon for something that is much more personal to me than simply reaching another finish line. I’ll be running each mile with Evan and our family in my thoughts, and with the hope that I can help give something back to the people who gave us so much.
