This year, I’m taking on the Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2026 — for 2020 Karen❤️ Running 42.2km is something I never would have imagined was possible a few years ago. When I broke my legs, I needed a wheelchair, and the thought of running a marathon felt completely out of reach. Being able to take on this challenge now is something I’m incredibly grateful for. In a way, this is about keeping a promise to the person I was back then and recognising how far I’ve come. I’ve chosen to run in aid of the Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) as a small way of giving back to an organisation that does such important work supporting people with physical disabilities. The road to the start line has taken plenty of training, and I know the 42.2km won’t be easy, but I’m looking forward to giving it my best and making the most of the opportunity. If you’d like to support me, donate or share of my fundraiser, it would be greatly appreciated❤️ Thank you, from the bottom of my heart❤️
