I will be running Dublin Marathon in loving memory of my son, Jack, who came into our lives and left far too soon, passing away shortly after his birth in June 2025. Jack may have had only a brief time with us, but his impact on myself & Sarah is immeasurable and everlasting. Every step I take on race day will be for him — a tribute to the love we carry and will always carry for our boy. I am proud to be raising funds for Féileacáin, the Stillbirth & Neonatal Death Association of Ireland — an incredible organization that provides vital support, comfort, and understanding to families who have experienced the devastating loss of a baby. When we needed it most, we found that no family should have to navigate such grief alone, and Féileacáin ensures they don't have to.

About Féileacáin (Stillbirth & Neonatal Death Association of Ireland

Féileacáin (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Association of Ireland – SANDAI) was formed in 2009 and subsequently registered as a charity in 2010 ( CHY – 19635). Féileacáin was formed by a group of bereaved parents to offer support to anyone affected by the death of a baby around the time of birth, and the organisation is now the national charity supporting families affected by perinatal loss. Féileacáin is a volunteer led organisation and receives no funding from central government, relying instead on the support of our community and the families who avail of our services.
