About The Cat and Dog Protection Association of Ireland
The Cat and Dog Protection Association of Ireland (CDPA) is a volunteer-run animal welfare charity helping cats and dogs in need across Ireland. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome cats and dogs, while also carrying out Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programmes to improve the welfare of community cats and help reduce the number of unwanted litters. CDPA does not operate kennels, a shelter or a cattery. Animals coming into our care stay in foster homes, where they receive the individual care and support they need until they are ready for adoption. Funds raised for CDPA help towards veterinary treatment, vaccinations, neutering, microchipping, food and everyday care, as well as supporting our TNR work. As a volunteer-run charity, we rely on the generosity of our supporters and fundraisers to continue our work. Thank you for choosing to support CDPA.
About Life Style Sports Fastlane Autumn Edition 2026
The race is located along the scenic settings of the Grand Canal and around the newly surfaced perimeter of Grange Castle business park. It has that country feel on the edge of the city. It is a flat course with long straight lines. The route has an elevation gain of 27m over 10km- as flat and fast as can be. This fundraising platform allows runners to promote and fundraise for worthy charitable causes that they have a strong significant meaning with. By registering for the race, participants will have the option to tell us about their charity and the reason they are looking to raise funds. We will use this fundraising platform to showcase these stories and together we will help raise funds for some worthy charitable causes! So register today, tell us your charity and get running!
