So...I am running a whole. ass. marathon with my big brother. Why, you may ask? Well, at this point we are questioning it ourselves. Jacob wants to do a marathon before he is 30, and I was bored and needed some motivation. Nothing says quality time with your sibling like running 42km straight...For real though, both of us are competitive and like a challenge, and when we saw this marathon, we knew we had to respect our Irish ancestors and go for it! Since we are half-Irish, and doing our first marathon in Dublin, it only made sense to fundraise for an Irish charity, and we have chosen to fundraise for Focus Ireland. €25 could help Focus Ireland provide warm, nutritious meals for families living in emergency accommodation. €50 can help Focus Ireland provide school supplies, books and uniforms.
