This year, I’m running the Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2026 for an organisation that is very close to my heart - Special Olympics Ireland. This will be my 5th marathon, and I'm dedicating it to my 5 years as a Special Olympics football coach! I've been coaching since 2021, and for the past two years I've been Head Coach of the Young Athletes team at Dundrum Special Olympics Football Club. I've seen first-hand how important inclusive sport is. It's not just about exercise (although that matters too!). It's about dedication, community and FUN! Every club is run entirely by volunteers. The money raised helps provide better equipment for clubs and supports athletes on their journey to the Special Olympics World Games in Chile in 2027. Any donation, big or small, makes a real difference. Thank you so much for your support!

About Special Olympics Ireland

Special Olympics Ireland is a sports organisation for people with an intellectual disability from the age of 4 years old with no upper age limit. Currently almost 8,000 athletes from across the island of Ireland participate in 15 different sports through Special Olympics. Through our sports, health and leadership programmes our athletes learn to be physically, mentally and emotionally fit. They get to learn new skills, increase confidence and most importantly they get to experience the joy of sport and make life-long friendships!
