Finlay, James, Jack fundraising for Epilepsy Ireland

This October the three of us will be taking on the Dublin marathon in order to raise money for the amazing charity Epilepsy Ireland. The three of us have deep roots and a big connection with the foundation as Jack and I (James) are Joar’s triplet brother with Finlay being his best friend. Us three have all had first hand experiences of how epilepsy has an effect on Joar, experiencing him having seizures to how it affects him on a day to day basis. At the age of 4 Joar had surgery to remove part of his brain to stop the epilepsy as he was having up to 100 seizures a day. Unfortunately during COVID he once again started having seizures, but instead of thinking about it as a negative Joar has done wonderful things to raise money for epilepsy Ireland and spread awareness about his condition. Taking it in his stride for the better. We chose Epilepsy Ireland as it’s helped Joar out massively and any donation big or small would contribute on how to tackle epilepsy, hopefully leading to research to give Joar and others with epilepsy a life seizure-free. Between the three of us, we're facing months of training, early mornings, sore legs, and more than a few tough runs, but knowing we're doing it for such an important cause will keep us going every step of the way. Any donation, big or small, would be hugely appreciated and will help support the vital services provided by Epilepsy Ireland. Thank you for helping us make a difference and for supporting us on this journey to the finish line 💜 James, Jack, Finlay and Joar
