Evan Scully fundraising for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland

€3000 is the amount CF Ireland give to first time applicants for fertility treatment. But also there are many more grants like exercise, bereavement, wellbeing or financial assistance. So let’s get to €3000 to give back to at least one couple who is trying to start a family. I’m proud to be raising money for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland, an organisation that relies heavily on fundraising as it currently receives no government funding. Every donation makes a real difference. Cystic fibrosis is the most common inherited genetic condition in Ireland, and Ireland has the highest incidence of CF in the world. While many people know it affects the lungs, fewer realise that it impacts almost every organ in the body. This fundraiser is especially close to my heart because Cystic Fibrosis Ireland supported us through their Fertility Grant. Thanks to that support, our little boy Roscoe is here, and he is everything we could have hoped for and more. If this fundraiser can help another couple receive the same support we were fortunate enough to have on their journey to parenthood, then every step, every donation, and every bit of support will be worth it.

About Cystic Fibrosis Ireland

We empower, support and advocate to improve the lives of people with CF. CFI was set up by parents to improve the treatment and facilities for people with CF in Ireland (PWCF). This includes funding CF units across Ireland, providing direct support for PWCF with grants, funding CF research, advocating for and providing advice and information for PWCF and their families.
