Ellen Stapleton Donoghue fundraising for Endometriosis Association of Ireland in Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2025

I’m running the Dublin Marathon 2025 to raise funds for the Endo Ireland, a cause very close to my heart. Endometriosis is a chronic condition that causes symptoms (to name a few) such as debilitating pain (in various forms) and fertility issues. It affects 1 in 10 women, yet it often takes 8-10 years on average to be diagnosed. Despite being so common, awareness and support remain far too low. By supporting my run, you’ll be helping the Endometriosis Association of Ireland provide vital information, advocacy, and support services for those living with this condition. If you can spare a few euros, or share this page, I would be very grateful! Thank you for your support💛

About Endometriosis Association of Ireland

Endometriosis is a condition where cells similar to the ones in the lining of the womb (uterus) are found elsewhere in the body. The Endometriosis Association of Ireland's (EAI) purpose is to support and represent those impacted by endometriosis, by empowering the patient and advocating for change. Our vision is ready access to a timely diagnosis and appropriate treatment with lifelong care. The EAI supports its members by raising awareness, providing up to date information and advocating for best practice in related healthcare policy.
