After completing the Dublin City Half Marathon in May 2026 while on maternity leave, in a moment of madness I set my sights on tackling my first marathon! I’m delighted to be participating in the Dublin Marathon on October 25th, 2026, in memory of my nephew, Cian, while raising funds for Heart Children Ireland. Cian sadly passed away from an underlying heart condition in November 2020 when he was just 7 years old. He is sorely missed by our family, but his fun-loving, brave spirit will never be forgotten. In his memory, I am fundraising for Heart Children Ireland. They are an incredible charity that provides a lifeline to children born with congenital heart defects and their families. They rely entirely on donations to fund crucial psychology services, family support, and lifesaving medical equipment. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a genuine difference to these brave children and their families and is so deeply appreciated. 💙
