Daniel Walerowski fundraising for Childhood Cancer Ireland in Cork City Marathon 2025
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the Full Cork City Marathon 2025. Your support is really appreciated!!
About Childhood Cancer Ireland
Childhood Cancer Foundation was founded in 2013 by a group of parents and family members of children with cancer.
We are a voluntary, parent-led organisation, we are non-government funded. In August 2022 we were delighted to join together with CanCare4Living, a charity for survivors of childhood cancer, under the new name Childhood Cancer Ireland.
We will continue to represent the voice of children, adolescents and young adults with cancer, survivors and their families as the national parent and survivor-led childhood cancer charity.
Bringing our two charities together creates a unified and even stronger voice for everyone affected by childhood cancer and we are pleased that Childhood Cancer Ireland will reflect the life-long impact of childhood cancer - from diagnosis to treatment and into survivorship and adulthood.
Through the generosity of our donors we are proud to fund supports and services for children with cancer and their families.
About Cork City Marathon 2025
Organised by Cork City Council, the marathon has three distances: the
Full Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K race. The routes weave through Cork
City’s scenic and vibrant streets and suburbs, past iconic landmarks and along
the bustling quays. The incredible support from Corkonians lining the streets,
paired with the camaraderie among participants, guarantees a memorable day for
all.
The Cork City Marathon is open to all, from elite athletes chasing
records to first-time runners tackling personal goals. It's more than a
race—it’s about community, resilience, and making a difference.
Building on the €200,000 raised for 58 charity partners in 2024, we aim
to double this target in the coming years. With our new tagline ‘Your Race,
Their Hope.’ We encourage participants to run for causes close to their hearts,
making every stride on June 1 count towards vital, life-changing work.
As a full member of AIMs the Cork marathon is IAAF certified.
