Childhood Cancer Foundation was founded in 2013 by a group of parents and family members of children with cancer. We are a voluntary, parent-led organisation, we are non-government funded. In August 2022 we were delighted to join together with CanCare4Living, a charity for survivors of childhood cancer, under the new name Childhood Cancer Ireland. We will continue to represent the voice of children, adolescents and young adults with cancer, survivors and their families as the national parent and survivor-led childhood cancer charity. Bringing our two charities together creates a unified and even stronger voice for everyone affected by childhood cancer and we are pleased that Childhood Cancer Ireland will reflect the life-long impact of childhood cancer - from diagnosis to treatment and into survivorship and adulthood. Through the generosity of our donors we are proud to fund supports and services for children with cancer and their families.
