I never thought I'd be writing this. But I am running the Dublin Marathon! To be honest I am no way a runner so taking on 26.2 miles is going to be a huge challenge for me. But I have decided to push myself completely out of my comfort zone and take on the Dublin Marathon for a very special reason. I will be running in memory of a brave little boy, Odhrán, and raising money for Oscar's Kids Odhrán showed incredible strength and courage throughout his illness. While his family faced an unimaginably difficult journey, Oscar’s Kids were there to support them, offering kindness, comfort and much needed help during some of the hardest days. I wanted to do something meaningful to honour Odhrán’s memory and to help Oscar’s Kids continue the amazing work they do for other children and families going through similar circumstances. This marathon is for Odhrán a brave little boy who will never be forgotten and for all the families who need the support that Oscar’s Kids provide. If im going to put myself through 26.2 miles, I cant think of a better reason. Thank you so much for reading, sharing and donating. It truly means more than you know. Run for Odhrán.
