Diarmaid Finnerty fundraising for Alzheimer Society of Ireland in Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2026
This year, I’m running the Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2026 in support of the Alzheimer Society of Ireland. Alzheimer’s is a cause that has a personal meaning for me, having affected my own grandmother. Like so many families, I’ve seen first-hand the impact it can have, which makes taking on this challenge and raising money for the Alzheimer Society of Ireland particularly important to me. Running a marathon is a big challenge, but it feels like a small one compared with the challenges faced every day by people living with Alzheimer’s and dementia, and by the families and carers supporting them. I’m hoping to use the 42km of the Dublin Marathon to raise as much as I can for a cause that means a lot to me and my family. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help support the vital work of the Alzheimer Society of Ireland. Thank you so much for your support — whether that's through a donation, sharing this page, or simply cheering me on along the way. Every kilometer matters, and every contribution makes a difference. Thank you.
