Conor Walsh fundraising for Pieta in Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2025

A Marathon in Memory of My Mam - This year, I’m taking on a challenge that’s both personal and deeply meaningful—running a marathon in aid of Pieta House. It has been 10 years since we lost my mam to her battle with mental health, and not a day goes by that I don’t think of her. Mental health struggles affect so many, and Pieta House does incredible work providing life-saving support to those in crisis. Their work is vital, offering hope to individuals and families who need it most. Running this marathon is my way of honoring my mam’s memory and ensuring that others get the help they need. Every step I take is for her and for those still fighting. If you can, please donate using the link below—every contribution, big or small, will help Pieta House continue their mission. Thank you for your support!

About Pieta

Pieta' vision is a world where suicide, self-harm and stigma have been replaced by hope, self-care and acceptance. By supporting us you will allow us to strive to make this a reality. Without your support we would not have been able to give hope to over 60,000 people since we first opened our doors in 2006. In 2020 Pieta delivered over 52,000 hours of intervention and bereavement counselling. We managed over 70,000 crisis support calls. All of our services are provided free of charge. This is only possible because of you.
