Ciara Summers fundraising for Irish Cancer Society in Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2025
Hi, I’m Ciara. In 2018, I lost my father to oesophageal cancer. As many of you know, my dad was an avid sprinter, and his passion for running inspired me to take on a challenge in his memory. This October, I’ll be running two marathons in two weeks—the Dublin City Marathon and the Chicago Marathon—to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society. The Irish Cancer Society is a community of patients, survivors, volunteers, supporters, health and social care professionals, and researchers. They are working to save lives and improve the lives of people affected by cancer in Ireland. Their mission is to ensure that by 2025, three out of four cancer patients in Ireland will survive their diagnosis, and in the future, no one in Ireland will die from the disease. I’m running these marathons not just for my dad, but for everyone affected by cancer. Every donation will support the Irish Cancer Society’s vital work in cancer research, patient support, and advocacy. Together, we can help create a future where fewer people get cancer, more people survive, and everyone has access to world-class treatment and care. Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Your support is really appreciated. If you can help me to promote this page, I would greatly appreciate it. You can share my page on any social media using the social sharing sections. Thanks again!
