Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I’ve been given the opportunity to take part in the Dublin Marathon this October and to raise money for the Children's Health Foundation. I’m fairly new to running so this will be a big step up for me, one that I’m equally excited and terrified about. CHF is a charity that's close to my family’s heart. Our son Dennis was diagnosed with congenital scoliosis at an early age and receives care from the Orthopaedic team in Crumlin Children’s Hospital. Through our visits there, we’ve seen how hard everyone works and how stretched things can be at times. Dennis has a long journey ahead and we'll be relying on their care and support as he develops through childhood and adolescence. I'm delighted to be able to give something small back through fundraising for CHF and to couple that with (hopefully) finishing my first marathon means a lot to me.
