Ciara Reilly fundraising for Diabetes Ireland
I’m running this marathon to support Diabetes Ireland because, as a final-year student nurse researching diabetes for my thesis, I see every day how deeply this condition affects individuals and families. Taking on this challenge is my way of standing in solidarity with the people I care for, raising awareness, and helping fund the education and support services that can change lives. It’s a chance to put my passion for nursing into action—one mile at a time.
About Diabetes Ireland
Diabetes Ireland is a national charity dedicated to helping people with diabetes. We achieve this by providing Support, Education, and Motivation to our community. We also raise public awareness of diabetes and its symptoms and supports, and fund research related to the causes, prevention, and cure of diabetes.
