In memory of Oisín Peat, Conor Peat is fundraising for Acquired Brain Injury Ireland in Joe Duffy BMW Clontarf Half Marathon & 5 Mile November 2025

My brother Oisín Peat passed away on 29th June 2025 after a devastating brain haemorrhage. His loss has left a huge gap in our lives, and we will never stop missing or loving him. For three and a half years following a previous haemorrhage, Oisín received exceptional care from Acquired Brain Injury Ireland’s Mobhi Road residential service. We’re deeply grateful to the dedicated ABII team for helping him regain as much independence as possible. We know he was happy there and had many good times. Oisín was once an avid runner, and I have so many fond memories of us running together. In his honour, I’ll be taking part in the Clontarf Half Marathon this November to raise much-needed funds for ABII. Thank you for supporting this fundraiser — your contribution will help them continue their vital work.

About Joe Duffy BMW Clontarf 5 Mile and Half Marathon November 2025 Fundraising Campaign

Welcome to Joe Duffy BMW Clontarf half marathon and 5 mile. It takes place in the scenic setting of Clontarf Promenade and Bull Island with views of Howth Head and Dublin bay. The race is contained within an off road promenade and Bull Island giving it unique and relaxing appeal. This year we are partnered with the Mater Hospital Foundation charity and are encouraging all participants to make a difference for critically ill patients and their families while taking part. This fundraising platform allows runners to promote and fundraise for worthy charitable causes that they have a strong significant meaning with. By registering for the race, you will have the option to tell us about your charity and the reason you are looking to raise funds. We will use this fundraising platform to showcase these stories and together we will help raise funds for some worthy causes!
