Chris and Niamh Fitzgerald fundraising for Epilepsy Ireland

On Sunday, October 25th, we are taking on the Dublin Marathon to support Epilepsy Ireland. Our son, James, was diagnosed with epilepsy in May 2025 after 10 months of uncertainty. We are so proud of James and how he has adapted to life post diagnosis. Epilepsy Ireland have been a huge support to us and James’ school by providing guidance and training, in particular their local community office services. Training for 26.2 miles is a massive undertaking, but the work Epilepsy Ireland does to support individuals and families affected by epilepsy across the country makes every run worth it. We are aiming to raise as much awareness and funding as possible to support their vital services, research, and community care. Every donation—no matter how big or small—makes a real impact. Thank you so much for your support!
