Hi everyone as some of you know 2024 was the year I returned to the bike after 9 years of cycling very little. It was always a aim of mine to take part in a Mizen to Malin Head Cycle. This September I will take part in the cycle of hope for cycle against suicide. It is a 750km cycle based over 6 days, commencing on the 7th of September and finishing on the 13th in Malin Head. The reason why I have chosen this charity is because suicide effects lots of family's in Ireland. Moneys raised will go towards cycle against suicide who do great work throughout the country. I would really really appreciate a donation there is no such thing as a donation being too small. Also it would be fantastic if you could share this link on WhatsApp groups and social media.

About Cycle Against Suicide

Cycle Against Suicide is an awareness charity (CHY 20687) that makes a valuable contribution to the public education of mental health by changing the narrative surrounding suicide. When an individual is vulnerable enough to consider taking their own life, silence is read as indifference. With hundreds of people dying by suicide in Ireland each year and research indicating that thousands more contemplate it, we all have a role to play to collectively address the challenges that suicide presents. In a bid to save more lives, Cycle Against Suicide through its programmes, sets out to change culture and create a society that openly talks about suicide to allow people to speak up and seek help.
