Ben Moody fundraising for Diabetes Ireland in Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2026
This year marks 10 years since I was diagnosed with type one diabetes. Running and training have transformed how I manage it physically, through better glucose control, and mentally, by giving me a goal to chase instead of a condition to fear. Running with T1D is one of the best tools we have. Better glucose control, a goal to train for, and proof the disease doesn’t get to set the limits. Diabetes Ireland has been the country's only national charity for diabetes education and support since 1967, now serving over 300,000 people living with the condition across Ireland. They educate diabetics on the benefits of exercise and healthy living, helping people see their condition as something they can train around, not be limited by. That’s why I’m running 26.2 miles for them on October 25th. Every euro donated goes directly to Diabetes Ireland and the work they do supporting the diabetic community across Ireland. Anything at all is greatly appreciated. Thank you. 🧡 See you out there. 🏃♂️
