Aoife Walsh fundraising for Barretstown in Dublin City Half Marathon 2025
Hi everyone, my name is Aoife Walsh. I am running the Dublin City Half Marathon in order to raise funds for Barretstown, a charity that is close to my heart. Barretstown played an important role in supporting my cousin Leo and his family during Leo’s recovery from cancer. About Barretstown
Barretstown offers free, specially designed camps and programmes for children and their families living with a serious illness – supported behind the scenes by 24 hour on site medical and nursing care.

The race is hosted by the Irish Life Dublin Marathon organisers in partnership with Dublin City Council, the official event partner.
Distance: Half Marathon
Date: Sunday, 30th March 2025 @ 8.30am
Course: Starting in the heart of the City Centre on O’Connell Street the course will take runners out of the north of the city and will finish back in the city centre.
