This year, I’m running the Dublin Marathon with #Team Laura in memory of my wonderful niece, Laura Flynn. Laura was an amazing girl who touched the hearts of everyone with her beautiful smile and witty personality. Together with my brother and several family members, we are running to honour Laura’s memory and to raise money in aid of Aobheann’s Pink Tie, a charity that was very supportive to Mick, Olivia and Laura during Laura’s illness. About Aoibheanns Pink Tie
Aoibheann's Pink Tie National Children's Cancer Charity was founded in 2010 by Mick Rochford and Jimmy Norman following the death of Jimmy's daughter Aoibheann. The charity provides practical and financial support to families of children going through treatment for childhood cancer.
