Adam Mellotte fundraising for Merchants Quay Ireland in Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2026
Join me over the next months as I train for the Dublin Marathon, my first ever official marathon distance run. It’s been many years since I’ve run anything like this distance so I’m excited and curious how my old body will react to the inevitable training that’s ahead of me. I’m raising money towards a very important cause here in the city of Dublin, which is addiction and helping people overcome theirs and live a full and meaningful life in Recovery.
About Merchants Quay Ireland
Merchants Quay Ireland is a national voluntary organization that helps people who are homeless and those caught in addiction. We provide frontline services, practical supports, pathways towards recovery and innovative responses to the issues of drug use and homelessness in Ireland. When you hold a fundraising event in aid of Merchants Quay Ireland, you can make a real difference to Ireland's most vulnerable. Each €10 you raise can help provide hygiene packs, new underwear to restore dignity, a hot meal and crisis intervention for a person who has nowhere else to turn.
