Hi Everyone, I am running the Dublin City Half Marathon on Sunday, 30th March with my sister Leanne, to raise funds for the Bone Marrow for Leukaemia Trust, which has been a huge support to our family. As many of you know, our dad, Joachim Kelly, was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia (CML) in April 2024. After six months of chemotherapy, he was told that without a bone marrow transplant, the cancer was likely to return. Fortunately, a donor match was found, and in November 2024, Dad underwent intensive chemotherapy followed by a stem cell infusion. Thankfully, the treatment worked, and Dad is now recovering at home. The Bone Marrow for Leukaemia Trust provides free, fully furnished apartments for transplant patients. Dad stayed in one for a couple of weeks as he needed to be close to the hospital once discharged. It relies solely on donations, and we want to help them continue their vital work. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much, Aoife & Leanne
