This October I'm running the Dublin City Marathon. I've never ran a marathon before and for me it's more than just a physical challenge. I've chosen to run for Amnesty International and every single step in my mind is one more step towards advocating for human rights with a spotlight on the dire situation in Gaza. Their struggle has profoundly moved me and motivated me to use this marathon as a way to advocate for peace, justice and dignity. In solidarity with them and so many other facing injustice worldwide, I run to make a difference. I chose to support Amnesty International because of the incredible work they do to fight for human rights everywhere, protecting the rights of people that desperately need our voice and support.
