Just under two years ago now my daughter underwent life-changing spinal surgery in Temple Street Children’s Hospital to remove a tumour found on her spinal after we noticed she completely lost all power in her left arm. It was the scariest time of our lives — but the care, support, and dedication from the surgeons and every single staff member for the 3 months we spent in there was nothing short of incredible. As you can see from this short video documenting the last two years or rehab & progress she is absolutely flying her recovery ❤️‍🩹 this is all thanks to the after care team and continued support form Temple Street Children’s Hosiptal. Now, as a way to give something back, I’ll be running the Dublin City Marathon in October to raise money for Temple Street Children’s Hospital. Here’s the thing I need a % of the funds raised by the end of this month which will secure my place along with an extension to press on and try reach the target I personally set of 10k.
