Cancer Trials Ireland is the leading cancer trials organisation in Ireland, working to give more people with cancer access to high-quality clinical trials and potentially life-altering new approaches to treatment.

We bring together the people, expertise and infrastructure needed to make cancer trials happen across Ireland. Our network includes leading medical, surgical and radiation oncologists, haematologists, research nurses, pharmacists, data managers, translational scientists and other research specialists.

Some 98% of cancer-treating specialists in Ireland are members of Cancer Trials Ireland, creating a strong national network through which patients can access cancer trials.

To date, Cancer Trials Ireland has recorded more than 30,000 trial accruals, including almost 5,000 in 2025 alone.

Our ambition is to maximise access to cancer trials for patients in Ireland, while making Ireland a highly attractive location for high-quality cancer trials.
