Noah's Story is a charity created to honour the life of Noah McAleese. A bright joyful little boy who passed away suddenly in November 2022. Noah adored diggers, tractors and Toy Story and brought light and laughter to everyone around him. In the wake of their loss, Noah's family are advocating for change. Following their experience at their local hospital on the night they loss Noah it inspired a mission- to ensure families facing sudden bereavement are met with compassion dignity and care. Noah's Story is dedicated to creating and maintaining dedicated bereavement spaces in hospitals across Northern Ireland -spaces that offer privacy and somewhat of a softer landing in life's darkest moments. Alongside these spaces a further focus of the Charity will be supporting the delivery of trauma -led training for medical professionals so they feel appropriately equipped to support families facing bereavement.
