In January 2024, Jenna was diagnosed with Rett syndrome, a life-changing moment for her family. Since then, they have faced many challenges but have also experienced incredible kindness and support from those around them. They are deeply grateful to their amazing family, Jenna's therapists, the wonderful team at Ciara's Home From Home, their friends, their community, and especially the Jack and Jill Foundation, whose dedicated nurses provide invaluable in-home nursing care and respite support to families caring for children with severe learning disabilities and complex medical needs. 

On 25 October 2026, Jenna's dad will take on the Irish Life Dublin Marathon alongside his great friends, Daniel Smith and Darragh Smith, to raise vital funds for the Jack and Jill Foundation and give back to a charity that has made such a meaningful difference to their lives.
