For the second year running we’ll kick off our Women in Coaching Network Event on October 14th in the Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley.
Over the last five years our NGB's has built a community of hundreds of women across our sports who all enjoy connecting in a more intimate and welcoming environment.
So, if you are a female coach from any sport, then join us at this year’s Coaching Network Event, sharing knowledge, experience & best practice from world class coaches & leaders.
World Class Speakers
Noelle Morrissey is a high performance Olympic and World Championship coach, who specialises in sprints and hurdles .
Noelle is currently coaching Ireland’s fastest ever woman, Sarah Lavin, who holds both Irish records in the 100m and 100m Hurdles.
Noelle will be the keynote speaker and will discuss “The Process, Planning & Execution of Long-Term Coach-Athlete Development”.
Vicky Huyton is the founder of the Female Coaching Network and she will be delivering on “An Introduction to the FCN PRO System - practical ways of improving your coaching career prospects “.
This workshop is an interactive, filled with practical tips to improve your own coaching careers and advice to create change for women.
The workshop will take you through ways to improve your PERFORMANCE as a coach, your RELATIONSHIPS in the coaching world and readiness to take up OPPORTUNITIES when they arise.
Orna will discuss Training and the Menstrual Cycle and will provide insights into female physiology and how we all have a role to play in the advancement of women in sport.
Orna will assist in debunking common myths associated with the menstrual cycle but also provide the practical tools to support coaches around conversations and actions associated with periods and performance.
Through her workshop, participants will have the opportunity to address real-life realities of coaching girls and women, which will include reflection activities to facilitate the sharing of experiences and expertise among the group.
