RWB Minishowen Charity Cycle Supporting Transplant Sport Northern Ireland & Friends of the Cancer Centre
Join us for a special day in the saddle as Racing Without Borders (RWB) hosts the Minishowen 100 Charity Cycle, raising funds for two incredible organisations: Transplant Sport Northern Ireland and Friends of the Cancer Centre.
This event is about far more than kilometres and climbing. It is a celebration of life, resilience, and community, inspired by the athletes and families who face transplant journeys and cancer treatment with extraordinary courage every day.
Starting from Ebrington Square in Derry, riders will take on a spectacular route around the Inishowen Peninsula, passing through some of the most iconic coastal roads and villages in the northwest including Fahan, Buncrana, Clonmany, Ballyliffin, Carndonagh, Quigley’s Point and Muff.
Expect stunning views, challenging climbs, and a warm welcome from the cycling community as we ride together for two causes that change lives across the North of Ireland.
Ride Options
We have two supported route options so riders of different abilities can take part:
Minishowen 100 • Distance: ~100km • Elevation: ~1000m • A challenging and rewarding loop featuring the iconic Mamore Gap climb.

MiniMeshowen 75 • Distance: ~75km • A shorter but equally scenic route.

Rider Support
Both routes will be fully supported to ensure a safe and enjoyable day for everyone. Support includes: • Broom wagon support vehicle for riders needing assistance • Emergency contact number provided to all entrants • Signed route and GPX file available • Feed / regroup stops along the route • Friendly RWB volunteers throughout the event. Whether you’re aiming for a strong ride or simply enjoying the scenery, we want everyone to feel welcome.
Why We Ride
