Collins Christle

Navan Road Club are pleased to host the Collins Christle race on the 14th August 2022. This race is run over the same route that the Beechmount Cup event is run over the previous evening.

The race formats on the day and times of same are as follows:

A4 race will start at 9.15am - 4 laps.

Intermediate Womens League race will start at 9.18am - 4 laps.

The finish line for both of these races will be 1km from Bective Cross, the races will not finish in the village for the A4/Intermediate Womens race.

Parking for these events will be in Bective Cross, at Crocketts Pub. This will also be the start line for the A4 and Womens race being held in the morning. Here is the location:

There is also a nice coffee place, just on the river near the bar, head down to the bridge over the river.

THERE IS TO BE NO PARKING IN KILMESSAN VILLAGE FOR RIDERS DURING THE MORNING OF THESE RACES. RIDERS WHO HAVE BEEN FOUND TO BE PARKING IN THE VILLAGE WILL HAVE THEIR ENTRIES REVOKED AND WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.

Mass is going on when the race is going on and the village will be busy.

There will be a handicapped race in the afternoon for the A1/A2/A3/Junior/Senior Women (above intermediate level). 

This race is a handicapped race and will begin at 12.30pm

This race will be 6 laps of the course above, with the finish line in Kilmessan Village. Parking for these events is allowed in Kilmessan village the school car park and the church car park available for use.
