Event Description:
Belgians have their cobbles, Italians have their strade bianche, USA have their gravel. We have Boreens - rough, narrow roads used by livestock & farm machinery.
Boreen is an unsupported team event, for 2–4 members, riding Cyclocross, Gravel or MTBs over the rough backroads in Armagh.
• The event covers a figure 8 course
• covering a distance of approximately 80km.
• Teams navigate the course using GPX files and a GPS device (e.g. Garmin)

• Teams are required to pass through a series of manned and unmanned checkpoints along the course.
• The goal is to finish the course as a team, under the course time limit of 4.5 hours.
