STRANDRACE BETTYSTOWN BEACH 2022 / Starsky CC
The only opportunity for racers, sportive and leisure riders to test your endurance before the summer season, you will be able to join this event and test yourself in the harshest conditions. The event is hosted on the Bettystown beach February 6th Sunday 2022.

Bicycles: You can use any bicycle you want but preferred bicycle would be Mountains bike (MTB) or Cycle Cross bike with tyres 35mm at least.
Parking: There are number of parkings places in Bettystown so please come early and secure your spot. Please do not park on the road or in a hazard place. There is paid parking just across of the beach that you can use or multiple parking spots near the beach in Bettystown. You’re asked to cycle up to the start line 5 minutes prior to the race.
Our club has no litter policy please use litter bags and rubbish bins provided on the day of the event.
Pre-entry is mandatory via Eventmaster. Cut off for sign-on/check-in is 5th February 8 pm day prior to race (Saturday). There is limited number of places available.
All Participants will receive a medal at finish. The winners are asked to stay around to receive their trophy/Medals shortly after the finish. The results will be posted online on Starsky Cycling website (www.starskycycling.ie) and Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/starskycyclingclub/) after the race.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic situation you must complete or update the Self-Assessment Personal Screening Questionnaire before race and have the Sport Ireland Covid-19 e-learning course completed. Please heed marshals’ safety advice on the day.
The event is Cycling Ireland approved, i.e., existing CI memberships are valid and therefore you are insured under your own license at this event. If you are not holding Cycling Ireland membership you can purchase additional €10 add on that is One Day Licence and this add on will cover your insurance.
