National Road Race Championships 2026
Cunga Cycling Club are delighted to host this years National Road Race Championship. The event will run over 2 days in June.
Registration on both days will take place in Cong Community Centre F31PY97.
Roll out will be from here for all races.

Saturday 27th June
The racing will start at 10am with the Junior Men followed by Senior Women at 2pm.

Junior Men 8am - 9am
Senior Women 12pm - 1pm
Sunday 28th June
The racing will start at 10am with the Junior Women followed by Senior Men at 12pm.

Senior Men 10am - 11am
Foreign licence holders - If you already have a profile on our system from last year please email events@cyclingireland.ie with a copy of your current licence and a letter from your Federation to say you are insured to race in Ireland.
If you have never raced in Ireland please create a profile for yourself at this link https://membership.cyclingireland.ie/foreign-rider-form.html
You will need to upload a letter from your Federation to show that you are in good standing and insured to race in Ireland. You must also upload a copy of your current licence (pdf or photo).
Once this is in place we will approve your profile to allow you enter online.

Eligibility
Cycling Ireland Technical Regulation - T10.A1.29
The following riders may compete in a National Championship:
(a) Members of Cycling Ireland with the relevant Competition Licence and an IRL Nationality
(b) Members of a UCI affiliated federation with an IRL Nationality on their licence.
C3 Riders are restricted from competing in the Senior Men Road Race championships
