This event will be led by Audrey Tierney  who is the Discipline Lead for Nutrition and Dietetics in the School of Allied Health and is a Registered Dietitian for the past 16 years.

As you start or return to university this semester, it's important to prioritise your health and wellbeing. This session will provide practical tips and strategies to help you eat a nutritious diet, even with the demands of student life.

‘Healthy Eating for University Life: Nourishing Your Mind and Body on a Budget” Audrey will cover:

  • The importance of a balanced diet for academic performance, energy levels, and overall health
  • Affordable, easy-to-prepare meal ideas that can be recycled throughout the week
  • Essential store cupboard items to have on hand for quick, healthy meals
  • Strategies for eating well while commuting, working, and juggling a busy schedule
  • With an emphasis on the overall environment, we will also look at achieving this in the most sustainable approach possible.
