Run Run Rudolph - 5K, 10K & Half Marathon 2026

Our “Run Run Rudolph” Christmas running event is back for 2026 but will be even bigger & better – we are sticking with our 2025 courses - flat & fast 5 & 10K courses & a tough & fairly hilly 1/2 Marathon course, all routes interact & are colour coded Red, Green & Purple to ensure you stay on track.

Our Run Run Rudolph 2025 running event’s will take place on Sunday the 13th of December 2026 starting & finishing at or close to our clubhouse - R56 YX81

Note: the Family Walk/Run has been moved to Saturday night (Dec 12th) – when we will light up our Community Walkway to create an amazing Christmas atmosphere.

Again, this event is a fundraiser supporting the addition of 3 Hurling & Football playing pitches & other infrastructure at our Kilcullen clubhouse, all part of our “Field of Dreams” development. if you have come in previous years - you will notice the continued progress.

Change for 2026 - we hope to get all routes AI Certified before  Dec 13th, we will advise closer to the start-line.

Only the 5K event is open to walkers as most of our marshals are cooking Sunday dinner at home later.

If bringing a dog(s) with you – they must be kept on a lead at all times & controlled.

Prizes for 1^st, 2nd & 3^rd Male & Female runners in all 3 events & as per last year we will endeavour to offer additional age group prizes if we can secure sponsorship between now & the start line. We’ll update this in the coming weeks.

Online entry close at 6 PM on Saturday the 12th of December.  We will not be able to offer late entries this year.  

Note: Registration may close earlier if we reach our numbers limit before this date.

Again this year we are offering a postal service (for an additional fee). Our partner Pop-Up Races will post your event numbers to you approximately 1 week before the event thus making your event morning easier & stress free.

The events will start at different times to the sound of Chuck Berry’s Run Rudolph Run, start times as follows.

1/2 Marathon start – 10:30 AM @ Playground, well signposted

10 KM start – 11:15 AM @ Playground, well signposted

5 KM start –  11:30 AM @ Clubhouse, you won't miss it

All events will be Chip-timed.

As usual we will host you in Kilcullen GAA Clubhouse afterwards & we are hoping Santa, Raggy (Kilcullen GAA Club Mascot) & Rudolph himself will join us if time allows with their busy December schedules. We will have Christmas tunes in the courtyard & we will serve hot chocolate (with a drop of Baileys for adult participants) & other Christmas goodies to round off a great mornings effort.

Fancy dress prizes will be awarded for best young man, young woman, man & woman so make your best effort.
