Event Description:

This is the 10th and final edition of the annual cycle which commemorates the sad passing of a founding member of the Valley Wheelers Cycling Club. The cycle which is fully supported with service backup and food stops in an excellent challenge for the experienced and not so experienced cyclist.

The cycle leaves the picturesque gaeltacht village of Ballingeary and passed by the Top of Coom (the highest pub in Ireland) on its way to Kilgarven before stopping for refreshments in Kenmare.

  • 100km route heads over the Caha pass into Glengariff before taking on the Pass of Ceim An Fhia and then rolling into the Ballingeary  again.
  • 130km route heads for the Healy pass from Kenmare and jouns the cycle again in Glengariff before making its way back to Ballingeary.
