The Bike Like Me Online Training Programme is suitable for anyone new or returning to training.
As part of the Bike Like Me campaign, Cycling Ireland is excited to offer a 6 week Online Training Programme for beginner women, designed by Cycling Ireland Coach Gráinne Hanley.
The sessions will build your fitness throughout the six weeks and we recommend choosing a goal you'd like to reach. A distance orientated goal is a common one, for example, this plan should set you up to accomplish anywhere in the region of 25-50 kilometres depending on your training history coming into it. You could also choose to tackle a local hill, but whatever you choose we will help you stay focused for the 6 weeks! These sessions will give you the opportunity to train with other likeminded women at the same time.
The sessions will take place via Zoom from 7pm - 8pm on the following dates;

The Zoom sessions will be recorded, and a link sent out the following day (by 2pm) so you can catch up, if a live session is missed.
What do I need?
A set of rollers or a turbo trainer. You do not need a smart trainer to take part.
A laptop/enabled desktop/tablet or phone that can access Zoom. You also need to register free for Zoom and download it before the session.
