Event Description:

Welcome to the Bere Island 5 Mile Road Race in conjunction with Beara AC

**NOTE All entries after 12noon on 11th October will pick their number up on the day of the race

Bere Island Projects Group CLG in conjunction with Beara AC look forward to welcoming you to Bere Island on Saturday 16th October 2021 for the third race of our annual Beara A.C. Autumn 5 Mile Road Race Series. We are delighted to have Murphy’s SUPERVALU, Castletownbere as our main sponsor again this year and have also been assisted by Cork Sports Partnership. The race takes place on Bere Island. The start line is located near to Race HQ in the village. It is a single-lap, right-handed, clockwise course. See course Map. The course is measured by Mark Gallagher, Beara AC (Athletics Ireland Approved Road Course Measurer)

Some important information about the event:
*Event Starts at 2.30pm
*This is Race 3 of a 4 Race Series.
*Those entering all four races will receive a commemorative 2021 Beara A.C. race series Medal
*Single Race entry: €20 (+booking fee)
*Race Number postage is included on both individual & bundle entries up to the Monday before the event. – If you do not receive your number in the post please contact.

SATURDAY 16th OCTOBER 2021 - START 2:30pm
This race takes place on open Public Roads around Bere Island, on the Beara Peninsula, West Cork.
We wish to thank An Garda Síochána for their co-operation in staging this event.
