Monaghan Sports Partnership is delighted to announce that we will be running two 5 week long Inclusive Cycling Programmes for children with disabilities.
The two venues fro the Inclusive Cycling are Carrickmacross and Ballybay.
Inclusive Cycling in Carrickmacross will start on Saturday 20th April and every Saturday until the 18th of May @10am - 11am each week and will take place at Bunscoil Lughaidh Naofa, A81 DT82.
Inclusive Cycling in Ballybay will start on 20th April and every Saturday until 18th May @1pm -2pm each week and will take place in Scoil Eanna, Ballybay, A75 XD83
These programmes will be delivered by Bike Green who have extensive knowledge and experience of delivering cycling programmes to children.
This programme will prove invaluable for the children taking part, providing a great source of physical exercise while teaching the children correct techniques and improving their cycling confidence and capabilities.
Children will learn lots of fun cycling skills and drills across the week. Bicycles and helmets will be provided, but if children have their own bikes they are encouraged to bring them.
Parents must remain onsite with children for the duration of each session. Places are limited on this programme and pre-registration is essential. The cost of this programme is €20 per child and is heavily subsidised by Monaghan Sports Partnership.
