Leinster CX Championships 2022

Navan Road Club are pleased to announce the holding of our CX race on the 18th December 2022. This event will also double up as the Leinster CX Championships.

The event will take place on our usual CX course, in Blackwater Park in Navan. The park is located here:

The sign on/race HQ will be located at the back of the gaelic football pitch, if you follow the path around the park you will find it. It's not that far from the entrance of the park.

A full schedule of the events on the day is below: 

Course Open - 9.30am

U8's + U10's - Race 10.20am - 10mins

U12's - Race 10.50am - 15 mins

U14 + U16 - Race 11.45am - 30 mins

Junior Men/Women/Snr Women- Race 12.50pm - 40-50mins

A Race - Race 14.35 - 55 mins

The above schedule could change so be on the alert for any notices given out around the start line via intercom 

In between races the course will be open for practice, and for others to have a try out if they bring bikes along.

Portable toilets will be in the car park of Blackwater park. Also on the day, Last Lap Cafe will be on site for hot drinks, small snacks etc.

ENTRANTS/VISITORS etc. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING - THERE IS NO CAR PARKING AVAILABLE IN BLACKWATER PARK - CAR PARKING IS PROVIDED FOR EVERYONE IN AURA LEISURE CENTRE. PLEASE USE THE UPPER CAR PARK IN THE CENTRE.THERE WILL BE SIGNS POINTING YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. THE CENTRE IS LOCATED HERE:

THE DISTANCE FROM THE PARK TO THE LEISURE CENTRE IS 400MTS, SO IT'S NOT FAR TO WALK OR CYCLE TO/FROM THE PARK.

WE HAVE WORKED IN CONJUNCTION WITH MEATH COUNTY COUNCIL TO GET THIS EVENT RUN AND ONE OF THE CONDITIONS OF THE USE OF THE PARK IS THAT THERE IS NO PARKING AVAILABLE IN BLACKWATER PARK FOR THE CX ENTRANTS/VISITORS.
