The Glenmore Challenge Running Festival 2025

"The Glenmore Challenge” has just got even bigger!!

5K - 10K - 10M - 21K - 42K

All distances will take a scenic route through the unspoiled valley of Glenmore, in the heart of the Cooley Peninsula, the land of the Táin Legend.

The 21K (1 Lap) & 42K (2 laps) route will also take in breathtaking views across Carlingford Lough to the Mourne mountains and beyond!!

The race is AAI permitted and Chipped timing for all runners.

BUSES to start line will be provided for 5k and 10k participants ONLY

BESPOKE MEDAL FOR ALL FINISHERS!!

Prizes for 1st 2nd 3rd Male/Female in each event.

Cash Prizes for 1st Male/Female in all events

Prizes for 1st O40 / O50 / O60 Male/Female in 10M EVENT ONLY

A BBQ, a beer and great music await you at the finish line!!!

Fast 5k route – earn a new PB!!

5K opened to walkers as well.(No Prams)

5k participants must be aged 13yrs and over

Start Time 9am for Marathon

Start Time 10am for all other distances

Sorry No Prams , No Dogs & No Headphones permitted on route

Marathon cut off finishing time is 6hours
