Commerce Ball Afters Tickets

University of Galway Commerce Ball Hosted by the Bizsoc Society, takes place on the 31st January 2023 in the Inis Mór Ballroom in the Galmont. Doors open at 9:30pm

Afters tickets provide access to the ballroom starting at 9:30 pm, just in time for the musical entertainment segment of the evening

Changing the name on the ticket is permitted, but the original purchaser must provide the name, student ID number and e-mail of the new ticket holder to the Bizsoc Society before 12:30pm on the 30th of January 2024.

If you require accessible access, we recommend purchasing a general ticket. Afterwards, simply email bizsoc@socs.universityofgalway.ie with your name, student ID, and ticket reference number, and we’ll get you sorted!

Code of conduct at University of Galway Society Balls for student attendees and their guests

- After ticket holders must be there by the reception at 9:30pm
- Management reserves the right to refuse admission.
- Anyone attempting to consume alcohol not purchased on the premises will be asked to leave.
- Alcohol may not be brought into the premises, you will be asked to open bags etc. - Strictly no admittance to persons under the influence of alcohol.
- You must adhere to the University Code of conduct at all times, this is a University event and your conduct reflects on the University, code available at this

- Student ID is essential.
- Each student may have one guest on their ID their name must be given at time of purchase.
- You must not jeopardize your own health & safety or that of others.
- If consuming Alcohol you must drink responsibly, and in a manner which will not endanger your own safety and health or that of others.
- By purchasing a ticket you are agreeing that you and your guest if any will abide by these rules
