Beach Kite Flying - Bettystown | Aug 2026
Online Kite assembly workshop, followed by a Kite Flying session for families on Bettystown Beach as part of Summer at the Beach!
Meath LSP are partnering with ‘Go Fly your Kite’ to deliver fully interactive online workshop. This workshop provides a great opportunity to learn, be creative and imaginative in building and designing your own kite freehand or tracing a graphic onto a kite. Children and families learn all about how to build the kite, learn about aerodynamics, tension, balance, and the role that each part plays in flight. The online workshop takes place on Tuesday 18th August from 6:30-7:15pm. Kite Flying takes place on the beach from 7:15.
