This workshop seeks to develop a sustainable model of support for play activity in the communities across Ireland.

As part of the Cork Playful Paradigm and Active Cities Project, Cork Sports Partnership is supporting the role out of a Community Play Leaders Workshop.
The workshop is aimed at parents, teachers, community volunteers, community development staff, or anyone with an interest in promoting and organising play activities and events for their local community.
The workshop will run over two sessions and will consist of the following modules:
- Why Play is Important
- Engaging Children
- Understanding Physical Literacy
- Practical Play Session & Leadership Skills.
Dates: 01/12/21 and 8/12/21
Time: 4pm - 6pm
Venue: Online via Zoom
Cost: Free
A third practical session can be arranged locally as required.
