The 2024 Cycling Ireland Road National Championships are hosted by Newcastle West Cycling Club.

Distance - 36.6km (25.7km Handcycle)

Entry Window
Entries will open for all National Championships on Wednesday 22nd May at 09:00.

Entries will close 7 days prior to the event taking place, as per Cycling Ireland Technical Regulations - T10.A1.9

Tandem Entry
Each rider will be required to enter individually - Entry is priced per rider, not per bike.
When entering, riders must declare their tandem partner. 

UCI Regulations on Rider Position in Time Trials
All riders must abide by the UCI regulations in regard to Time Trial positions. Riders requiring height exemptions should follow the instructions listed HERE and contact Paul Watson with any queries - 

Foreign Riders
All eligible Foreign Rider must be registered on the Cycling Ireland database. 
Exisiting FR Rider - If you have previously been assigned an FR code, you must re-submit copies of your National Federation licence. 
New FR Rider - Please complete the following application form: 

All Foreign Rider queries must be sent to Aaron Johnson - before COP Thursday 13th June.

Cycling Ireland Technical Regulation - T10.A1.29
The following riders may compete in a National Championship:
(a) Members of Cycling Ireland with the relevant Competition Licence and an IRL Nationality
(b) Members of a UCI affiliated federation with an IRL Nationality on their licence.
